I was thinking about truth, reading Wikipedia's truth entry, which lead me to the funny and illuminating entry on the "new" word truthiness (which, incidentally, doesn't get by the spell checker). This got me to wikiality , which highlighted the irony of referencing Wikipedia in this context. I personally subscribe to a sort of consensus view of truth, with a skeptical eye, but if your a bible thumper (take truth as an absolute), these sorts of references can't ever lead to a consistent idea of truth.

Truth is stranger than fiction. (Who originated that phrase?)
