The blue and yellow sphere in the top left corner of the site is an Iterated Function System Fractal, also known as a Fractal Flame. The original image, called 'brainstrings' was created using a program called apophysis. It was more or less generated randomly but it struck me as having the combined appearance of a brain, earth-globe, and molecule.
